Being a woman is itself a blessing. They have faced hardships with bravery and resilience. They have disarmed their problems through their smile. They have concealed their worries in their heart. Life would have never been so beautiful and blessed without them. Our world would mean nothing without them. Their courage that exists in perfect harmony with amazing tenderness saves our world every day.
It's pathetic to see that we as a nation are still fighting for equal rights for women. Women have always been suppressed by some kind of force that has restricted their choices and freedom. But it's time to change that. Time and again women have proved themselves in all spheres of life. We just wow over such inspirational stories. One such story that came to my mind right now is of Arunima Sinha. Let me share it with you all. So Arunima Sinha was thrown out of a moving train by a bunch of robbers trying to steal her bag and gold chain. She faced serious injuries and doctors had to amputate her leg. Post this incident she surprised everyone by resolving to climb Mt Everest. She signed up for training under Bachendri Pal - the first Indian Woman to climb Mt Everest in 2011. Two years later Arunima turned the impossible into possible when she became the first Indian Amputee to climb Mt Everest. Instead of accepting her fate, she changed her fate to inscribe her name in Indian History. Such "women of steel" have inspired me personally to be brave and never let anyone or anything stop me from being the best version of myself. I know so many more women who have achieved so much in Academics, Sports and many more fields. They are truly an inspiration for me because they are able to achieve and do so much despite all the personal & societal problems that they have to face. I salute their undying spirit! Once again a Happy Women's Day. I wish the best for all the women aspirants out there!
